Bear's Den Red
A sweet, red wine, specially formulated to be a crowd-pleaser. This recipe was developed with the help and input from our customers. We say, "It's a wine designed by committee!" And fortunately the judges in Missouri's Wine Contest liked it, too, awarding it a bronze medal in 2009.

Cabernet Sauvignon
SOLD OUT!!! Our 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was bottled in the spring of 2010 and won a bronze medal in the
Missouri Wine Competition in July.
It is developing nicely in the bottle and should improve for another couple of years.

Chambourcin
A hearty burgundy style of wine, with notes of black cherries and currents. Ours has undertones of oak. Some people say it’s Missouri’s answer to Merlot.

Chardonnay
Our Chardonnay is crisp and clean, with a minimum of oak and buttery nuances;
fruity.

Noiret
A new grape on the wine scene, Noiret is lighter in body than Merlot, with slightly more acid in the flavor profile. It pairs well with spicy grilled foods or dishes containing a tomato sauce. Think spaghetti!

Norton Blend
This is "bone dry", 100% Norton, a blend of two vintages from two different vineyards. Our own King Mountain Vineyard produced half the grapes in this wine. Big and bold Norton is Missouri’s state grape.

Peach
This semi-sweet wine has a strong peach aroma, followed by smooth peach flavors on the palate.
We add a splash of grape wine to help round out the mouth feel. The new 2009 vintage is ready; some have described it as
"peach cobbler in a glass!"

Pink Catawba
An old-fashioned grape, semi-sweet Pink Catawba can be enjoyed by itself or with food.
The floral nose announces the delicious fruit flavors that will grace the palate.
It’s our most popular wine.

Vidal
Our Vidal has a little more sugar than our Riesling, but the taste is drier because of the naturally higher acid content of the grapes.
We also added small amounts of Riesling and Vignoles wines to increase the nose and enhance the complexity in the mouth. A light and refreshing wine.

Vignoles
Still in the semi-sweet range, but toward the sweeter end, our 2009 Vignoles
is the sweetest wine we make. It is still crisp and goes well with spicy foods or
can be drunk as an aperitif. We have added a new Off Dry Vignoles to our lineup as well.
It is half as sweet as the Semi Sweet Vignoles and some customers prefer it.
